Things To Try

Let's burn some rubber on our brand new forum! Here are some things to do to get the ball rolling:
  • Be brave and start the first thread in a new forum! Think of an interesting poll, some words of wisdom that have helped you, or just a funny anecdote.
  • Visit a friend's profile and leave a message or befriend them
  • Try sharing photos by creating an album (click on your Name at the top of the screen and select Add Album in the right column on your profile)
If you discover any cool features, think we should add a new forum, or whatever, don't be shy and reply.

Will there be a chat here?

I like the open contacts group feature.

Yes. I'm going to use the same chat service. This one will open a room called "DailyHealth.net" and the other will open a room called Diabetes Daily. In fact, I may set that up right now.

EDIT: I'll need to rethink this. I may host the chat room for both Diabetes Daily and DailyHealth.net on DailyHealth.net.

It's unfortunate, but I can't use the same chat license for both sites. So the answer for now is unfortunately no. I'll try and think of a way to do this in the future.

An idea - not knowing much about the chat room software, this could just be a silly question - couldn't you just make another Coffee shop?

Yes, but in order to afford a new license I'll need to wait until we some ad revenue. The problem is that each site has its own user accounts so there's no way to automatically log in from both places. There could be username collisions. In he end, we'll have to have separate chat rooms.
