Hello everyone

great sight for everyone i am pleased to have joined and just have a quick question my other half has type 2. i have a problem the other way if anyone can help my readings on a daily basis are between 2.5 and 3.3 if there an opposite to diabeties

Hi Dinky! Nice to meetcha.
Off the top of my head, since I really don't know anything about hypogycemia, have you tried the diet drinks people use when they're ill to get more nutrition?
Anyway, I'm glad you're here, and I'm sure somebody will be along who has a better clue than me.
Perhaps Dr. Krupa will read this...

It is possible that you have hypoglycemia. That condition will make you have very low blood sugar after you have eaten food that is high in carbohydrates. You should see a doctor, preferably an endocrinologist, and be tested. In the meantime stay away from food containing sugar, bread, potatoes, etc. and food that can give your other half problems.

Hi Richard. Thanks. Is what you described is reactive hypoglycemia? Hypoglycemia sounds worse than diabetes to me, expecially after watching Jess going through it on Diabetes Daily. Dinky, have you checked out posts by Hypo-Pony over on our sister site?
