Hi Everyone
Hi everyone Im Allison, known as Thomas mum on DD:)

Iv just posted on anxiety as this is something new to me, I hope you will get a chance if possible to read it and post a reply.

In my signature it says "the butterfly is emerging" this is because Im going through some major changes in my looks LOL.
Iv changed my hairstyle already, Im getting rid of my weight and finally braving it out to have my teeth sorted (with the help of diazepam and a very kind dentist).

Glad you found us. My particular field of interest is Mental Health, specifically depression, with a minor in addiction. lol

hi Allison, and welcome to the forum

i have anxiety and major unipolar depression.......... i take meds for both, and the anxiety meds make a world of difference for me

do you know what initiates your anxiety attacks? that can really help

oh, i also do meditation, with tapes that have different sounds/music on them and that helps a lot......especially when i'm out and about and can feel an anxiety attack coming on
