the cortisone shot doesn't hurt at all....... they mix an anaesthetic in with the cortisone, so it numbs the area where the injection goes

Oh David! I'm sorry about your shoulder woes. I can say at least you don't have diabetes b/c the cortisone shot would jack your blood sugars.

Has it started helping you yet?

I had a cortisone shot in the wrist for carpal tunnel about 20 years ago. It worked quickly, a couple of days if I am remembering right.

It's now been exactly one week, and my mobility is back to 90% but I still have a lot of soreness. I'm really, really, really hoping that it continues to get better. I'm do my best not to type - which is hard considering my line of work!
