caveat

Me again. I hope you don't think I'm being pushy.
On the Welcome page, home, whatever, you have a little blurb at the top. Well, I was just reading the pre-conception thread. (Good luck by the way, and have fun!) Twice it was mentioned to talk to a doctor before trying stuff.
I think you should put that blurb at the top of the home page. Just to cover your a**. Too bad one has to think about this, but it's the real world.

Becky, you're not being pushy. We had Diabetes Daily audited by a law firm last year and I've gone back and read the notes. I've added a warning to the footer of every page and put a sticky announcement. I'm going to insert another warning about the Conditions page. I just need to figure out where to place it so it's unobtrusive.

I rely a lot on all of you to report posts that offer medical advice, diagnosis, or a change in treatment. It's one thing to say "These symptoms are congruent with x illness". But it's a definite no-no to say "You really need to change your dosage because blah blah". I think everyone here has been really good about this.

You can never be to careful today. For goodness sakes people with peanut allergies were suing companies with products that had peanuts listed in the name (like M&M Peanut) along with the ingredients because it didn't have a warning on the label. Good Idea to list every where david. Maybe include it in the user agreement too (if its not in there, show how much i payed attention)
