visitors message

Instead of being a good girl and doing my homework, I been playing around on the site. I found somewhere this thing called "visitors messages" is this supposed to be my signature file or something totally different?

It's where I can visit your profile page and leave a note for you. It's different from a PM in that everybody who visits your profile can see it.
