Well done, Kris! You have done so well to keep that weight off. I agree that the Weight Watchers program is definitely one of the most sensible ones I have found, and I have previously lot quite a bit of weight on it (unfortunately I am very good at losing about a third of what I need to and then losing the plot and putting it all back on). My only problem with Weight Watchers these days is that it has become so expensive, even if you don't go! After spending so much money on weight loss programs over the years, I have got to the stage where I have realised that, no matter how much I pay someone, they cannot do it for me - and I know what I have to do.
Having said that, I was thrilled to find out that the Calorie King is free at the moment in Australia and have joined up and had a successful first week. Similarly to Weight Watchers, it focuses on sensible eating and exercise and slow, steady weight loss - the best kind, as it is more likely to stay off that way. It has a great website where you enter your food and exercise and it works out all the statistics for you, down to how much of your food is coming from protein, carbs and fat as well, of course, as how many calories you are consuming. There are also online meetings, a forum and lots of information, with dieticians answering questions. Sorry to rave on about it, but I am feeling more motivated at the moment than I have in a long time. I wish you continuing success with your weight loss.
