Are you on a 2008 New Year's Diet?

I am slowly easing into one to get back to my pre-wedding, pre-Holiday weight. That or I'll need to get bigger t-shirts!

I'm happy with things as they are going, but with the radical change in my diet in October (secondary to the Diabetes diagnosis) I feel another diet would be a touch on the side of ridiculous.

I've been eating sensibly, exercising regularly and recording and planning my meals (after the festive season and a good part of last year, all lifestyle changes!) using the Calorie King website for exactly a week now. I have lost 2.7 kg, which, to most of you, is 5.9 pounds!

I watch everything I eat too. If I don't I might miss my mouth and drop it on the floor. I hate it when that happens!!!

I started my New Years diet last summer, eating right and farming helped me loose 35 pounds. I would have lost more, except I started to build muscle.

So I am at my weight that I was when I was Sergeant in the Army 37 years ago. So my News Years started last summer.

My bg averages have dropped like a rock. As for weight loss, I havent weighed myself since I started taking it, Jan 29. I will weigh myself tomorrow morning, though. I'm nervous!!!! In a silly way..
